FCS CEO Releases Statement After Supreme Court’s Decision on Roe v. Wade

“I am deeply concerned about today’s U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn a landmark ruling that has been upheld for nearly 50 years, Roe v. Wade.

Numerous research suggests that this decision could directly impact childhood poverty and high-school dropout rates among subgroups who are already lagging behind academically. As the leader of an educational organization that serves families in communities known as “high poverty” areas, we must consider our students and families. This decision impacts us all.

Our organization will closely monitor the local implications of the Supreme Court’s decision to determine how we can best educate and support our students and families. ” – Dr. Bobby White, FCS Founder and CEO
