Become a Mentor.
Change a Child’s Life by Becoming a Mentor! We are excited to launch the FCS Mentors program for the 2026-27 school year. Mentors will be paired with a student based on interests and availability. All mentors are asked to commit at least three hours a month to their assigned mentee. A background check is required before becoming a mentor.
Do I Qualify?
To be a mentor, you must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Pass a mandatory screening
- Commit to spending 3-to-6 hours per month one-on-one with a mentee
- Attend an initial training session
