{"id":7506,"date":"2024-09-04T17:21:54","date_gmt":"2024-09-04T17:21:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mlkprep.org\/website_fc87fc38\/?page_id=7506"},"modified":"2024-10-18T14:28:39","modified_gmt":"2024-10-18T14:28:39","slug":"child-find-statement","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/fraysercs.org\/staging\/5603\/child-find-statement\/","title":{"rendered":"Child Find Statement"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column]<div class=\"conceptseven-headings clearfix text-center\"  style=\"\"><div class=\"extra-content clearfix\" style=\"\">\r\n\t\t<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Child Find is a statewide effort by the State Department of Education and the Department of Rehabilitation Services to locate, identify, and evaluate children with disabilities from birth to 21.\u00a0\u00a0This includes students who are intellectually gifted, whose needs cannot be met in the general education program.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Special education services are available at Frayser Community Schools in all schools, for students meeting the enrollment criteria.\u00a0 Frayser Community Schools does not discriminate against students with disabilities.\u00a0\u00a0An IEP team at the school will meet on an individual basis to determine what services a student needs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Parents who have educational concerns about their student(s) can access special education services by contacting the principal of their student\u2019s school or the Director of Special Populations for more information.
