Department of Communications & Engagement

Mission Statement

Frayser Community Schools serves more than 1,200 students across the Memphis area at one high school, and two middle schools. Our dedication to education and community has allowed us to become pillars in the communities we serve.

Communication

We understand the importance of communicating with our stakeholders. To ensure effective communication, we use a variety of mediums to reach staff, families, and community partners. All FCS Communications are handled by the Office of Communications and Engagement.

For Media Inquiries

The priority is to manage media inquiries to minimize disruptions to learning and the school day. For all media inquiries please contact

Erica Williams, erica.williams@fraysercs.org or call 901.623.4537.

Guidelines for media partners:

Engagement

Our work is guided by the belief that we make better decisions when they are made with, and not for, those who are affected by the decisions. We also know that engaged families and communities create stronger schools and student outcomes. Our team aims to design engagement opportunities that are relational, culturally proficient and inclusive of the diverse students, families, community members, staff and partner organizations that make up the FCS community.
