Congratulations are in order for the students, teachers, and staff at Humes Middle School. On Monday, August 15, 2022, Principal Freddie Thomas greeted the teachers and students with much excitement as he announced their level 5 status based on the recently released TVAAS data.
Thomas started the meeting with their usual “Drive to Level 5” chant and words of encouragement as he explained the importance of this accomplishment to his student.

To show their appreciation, Thomas and the Humes staff will reward the 7th and 8th-grade students for their hard work. Thomas hopes this reward will encourage the students to continue their efforts as they “Drive to Level 5” this 2022/2023 school year.
