MLK Prep students volunteer at Mid-South Food Bank

Students at Martin Luther King College Preparatory High School spent their Tuesday morning giving back to the community.

They joined in with community partners at the Mid-South Food Bank.

Students received the opportunity to help out by packing boxes with food.

Nearly 30 students took the initiative of joining in with FCS staff to fulfill their commitment to our community.

Students sorted and packed boxes that will be sent to families all across Memphis and the Mid-South.

More volunteer opportunities for MLK Prep students will be available in January on our Annual Soups & Socks MLK Day of Service.

Volunteers are needed to help with the beautification team.
