The City of Memphis Office of Youth Services has opened applications for its summer youth employment programs, Memphis Ambassadors Program, and MPLOY Youth Summer Experience.
The MPLOY Youth Summer Experience offers multiple career path options.
The program will place students in positions based on students’ strengths and interests.
Programs range from soft skills training, entry-level positions, and internships.
Students from age 14 and older are eligible to apply for this opportunity.
Students will work for six weeks on the job they are assigned.
According to MPLOY:
- Ages 16-22 will be compensated for up to 30 hours per week at six (6) weeks, not to exceed 180 hours during the program.
- Ages 14-15 will be compensated for up to 21 hours per week at six (6) weeks, not to exceed 126 hours during the program.
All applications are due December 31st.
